Next week, Sunday, June 29th, we will be taking up a special collection for the Barnabas Fund – The main ministry of Barnabas Fund is to support Christians where they suffer discrimination, oppression and persecution as a consequence of their faith. For more information go to www.barnabasfund.org.

CHS VBS Jul 28-Aug 1, Evenings 6:30-8:45 at Mt. Hope: It's time again to don tunics and sandals and travel back to Jerusalem, this time to 33AD. Watch the torchlit dramas unfold the story of the most important week in human history - the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. Breathe in the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes of the ancient marketplace. Bring the whole family and join the shopkeepers, the rabbi, the Roman centurion, and all the kids around the cooking fire and tell stories. Our Bibletimes reenactment is for children of 5 and up although still younger ones are most welcome if accompanied by a parent. Invite family, friends, and neighbors to the Marketplace celebration on Friday night, August 1, starting at 6:30.
Holy Spirit Ministry at the Red Barn on Strother’s Farm continues on Saturday, June 28tht – Healing prayer offered. The Saturday evening services will continue through August. Directions: Take Rt. 50 west through Aldie, Middleburg, and Upperville, then at the light at Rt. 17, turn left (south). Proceed about two miles to turn right on Rt. 688 (Leeds Manor Road). After one mile, you’ll see Valley View Farm on the right, at the bottom of the hill. The Red Barn is visible from the road, halfway up the hill. Turn into the driveway and follow the dirt road to the barn. Learn more at www.victorythruJesus.org.
Roger Penn's 2C8 Car Ministry Needs Your Old Car! - The car ministry is swamped with requests for cars and trucks for those in ministry and for poor and needy families. Many single mothers are waiting for help. Requests for help are unprecedented now. We need vehicles. Please call Roger Penn at 703-278-9299 if you have a vehicle to donate. Remember you can take the fair market value for vehicles we recondition and give away.
